Welcome. After creating the brand identity and tone of voice for The Darling Hotel, our brief was to extend those elements into the physical environment of the hotel. The architectural design featured wedges cut into the main form of the building, so we applied that technique to our bespoke typeface. The result was an elevated wayfinding design that literally leans out to greet you. We also wrapped the glass exterior of the building in oversized prose that was intriguing to read, either in part or in its entirety.
