Sense International wanted an annual review that would begin to demonstrate some of the challenges and difficulties that deaf-blind people face on a daily basis, and explain how the organisation helps relatives, friends and communities solve these issues. A series of narrative portraits were created to reflect each person’s story and to show how Sense International has had a positive impact on their lives. The illustrations incorporate objects that explain how they are now able to communicate and interact with the people around them.
