In a nutshell, Mr. Peanut is a true American icon. Born in 1916, he captured the hearts of the nation with his charm, swagger and kindness. From an early age he sought to bring people together through nuts of all kinds. But what happens when an icon dies? As the world mourns his loss, Jones Knowles Ritchie set out to honour his legacy by creating a commemorative campaign that highlights his most memorable moments throughout the years. A bright-coloured, nostalgic visual language is used to honour and celebrate Mr. Peanut, and further emphasise that while he may be gone, he is not forgotten.
