We have developed a commercially successful business that repurposes pineapple waste. Pinyapel is paper made from discarded pineapple leaves, reinforced and print-ready for secondary packaging applications. The product is locally sourced, locally manufactured and 100% biodegradable. It addresses the growing need for specialty paper and packaging, whilst supporting local pineapple farming communities.
