To take advantage of other sponsors during the 2019 Rugby World Cup, the French bank Société Générale turned psychic with a manga series for social that predicted the story of tomorrow’s game. Pairing real sport data with unexpected historical facts, the characters of Omikuji Rugby followed Japan’s ancestral Omikuji prediction ritual in animated Instagram stories. Through the Omikuji, Société Générale saw 61% accurate predictions.
