Laundry Night
In America, Sunday is the most popular day for laundry. But during the NFL season, Sundays are for watching football, and fans don’t want to miss a second of the game. So Tide partnered with the NFL to move laundry night to Tuesday. Football fans rejoiced, but fans of NBC’s Tuesday night show, The Voice, were not happy. The debate over #LaundryNight raged, and each week more football stars and NBC shows including sitcom Superstore, longest-running show Days of our Lives, and Saturday Night Live each fought back to protect their show's night of the week.
