Carol H Williams Ad Age Illustration
This inaugural film for Ad Age Illustrated - a new animation series based on significant milestones in the ad industry - celebrates Advertising Hall of Famer Carol H. Williams, who is one of our industry’s first female and African American creative directors. Ms. Williams recalls a formative 1970 experience that helped shape her history-making career. At just 20 years old, she had written a commercial script that would be rejected. She was devastated, until a remarkable encounter with the legendary Leo Burnett changed her life.
