Video Game Stamps
A collaboration between Bitmap Books and Supple Studio, this Special Stamp issue from Royal Mail aims to mark the success of the British video game industry by showcasing some of its most beloved and iconic games. Each stamp features a single game, such as Elite, Micro Machines, Lemmings, Sensible Soccer and WipeOut. These games are featured on a variety of systems such as the BBC Micro, ZX Spectrum and Sony PlayStation. Each image was painstakingly selected from hundreds of screenshots that were specially chosen to showcase each game – inducing as much nostalgia as possible from the recipient.
