Burger King - Join The Meltdown
In Sept 2019, Burger King UK turned up the heat on the fast food industry when it announced it would be removing plastic toys from its kids’ meals and melting them down, for good. The Meltdown campaign saw the brand call upon the public to donate their unwanted toys (BK’s and its rivals) via instore amnesty bins so they could be recycled and turned into play areas and more. To demonstrate its impact, thank the public for their donations and commemorate the initiative, Jones Knowles Ritchie created the world’s first 3D poster made entirely from discarded plastic toys.
