Stefanie Nelson Dancegroup Brand Identity
Moving into its 20th anniversary, Stefanie Nelson Dancegroup needed a visual identity that better embodied the character and energy of the brand. SND’s performance art is edgy, visceral and striking – known for its contorted, ambiguous movements. In reimagining SND’s identity, Gretel wanted its work to span the space between elegance and awkwardness, and explored graphic shapes that allowed for bold assertions of movement and physical form. The resulting geometric language can express and suggest movement in a way that feels spontaneous but grounded, instinctive but intentional.
