The Frontier Within
Most of the world practices wellness from the outside in. But health innovator Thorne wanted to remind people that real wellness begins not at the surface, but within. So, with an immersive installation entitled The Frontier Within, it took people on a journey inward, to the next frontier of health innovation: their own body. The experience uses multiple biometric sensors to capture people’s real-time brain, heart and respiratory data, and turn it into a living, breathing interactive portrait of their own body. The final portrait could then be shared as a digital inner selfie.

Comment from D&AD Community
The Frontier Within is one of the few that does offline to online relatively completely. In fact, the online experience has the same immersive effect, and you will experience it repeatedly. Although the execution of art is not unique, its user experience is very good and smooth. The personalised part also facilitates its social sharing. This should be a comparative experimental work, which somewhat reduced its influence. We have discussed it many times, and we have both positive and negative opinions. The linking experience of its URL is smooth, but this is a part that many immersive experiences ignore.
