Mutts4Trucks
Trucking is a lonely job. On average, truck drivers spend 240 nights away from home each year. A third say the isolation negatively affects their mental health. BBDO New York decided to address it by bringing together two best-in-class brands – Mobil Delvac and Pedigree – to create a first of its kind partnership: Mutts4Trucks. A unique collaboration to help dogs in need of a home find truckers in need of companionship. Then they tracked the physical and emotional benefit that drivers and dogs received after adoption. The results proved positive impact on all measures, including overall happiness and fitness.
