Banking customers are feeling insecure as a result of phishing scams, and privacy is pivotal to forming a strong and trusted relationship. Through a rendition of Shaggy's It Wasn't Me, Emirates NBD educated all banking customers to never give out their account information - simply because a bank will never ask. The result was 11m views, 91,000 reactions and 34,000 shares. Importantly, the number of fraud cases went down by 62%, the loss amount per month by 86%, and the average loss per case decreased by 67% indicating increased customer awareness.
