An Post – Ireland’s postal service, dedicated to connecting people – could no longer look away as Ireland’s homeless were growing evermore isolated from loved ones and support services as a result of an increasingly digitised society. An Post created The Shared Network, the world’s first mobile network designed specifically for Ireland’s homeless community and powered by the people of Ireland, finally helping to reconnect them with society. Since launch, 30% of Ireland’s adult homeless community have access to the network and this is growing every month.
