One in four girls have the depression by the time they hit 14, besides cities are associated with a 40% higher risk of depression, this means almost 2 in 4 girls in London have a risk of depression. That’s why Nike become the first sports brand that talks about another type of health: mental health. Nike introduces within its Nike Training App a section where young girls can train their minds, through relaxation and mindfulness exercises, giving them the possibility to contact professionals through the app and ask for help or train together with other girls. Creating community by building a space for mental health.
