The demand for allotments in London is huge, and the waiting lists go for miles. We want to use surplus energy from data servers to power greenhouses, called giffgaff gardens, located on rooftops of datacenters in London. If you have a giffgaff subscrition, you will get a garden spot equipped with water level-meters, fans, cameras and speakers that you can control through the 5G network. Anything you normally would do with you garden can now be done in an instant through your phone. This way, giffgaff can use surplus energy in a sustainable way, give londoners the gardens they sorely want, and engage thousands in the use of 5G.
