Zabalaza
Zabalaza means ‘The struggle’ in Zulu, the language of the largest ethnic group in South Africa. Bubblegum is a genre of music that appeared in South Africa during the apartheid in the 1980’s. In contrast to typical protest music - it was positive and carefree. Our album cover design uses typography to celebrates the genre, which provided hope to the anti-apartheid movement.
