Cultural Contrasts
“Different” is often perceived as something foreign, unfamiliar, and scary. But what most fail to realize is that our differences can be a binding power. Our differences not only make us unique and diverse, but they can also show us how similar we are beyond the surface. After all, our cultural contrasts are built upon the same universal construct of community. Because individually we may have our differences, but together we dance, together we play, together we craft, together we travel, and most importantly, together we thrive.
