Can you name 3 female inventors? It’s not easy and the sad truth is most people can’t. This realization lead us to celebrate surprising female inventions and all things woman-made. And to further encourage girls to Make What’s Next, we launched a Patent Program for women. Currently only 7% of US patents are held by women so we wanted to do something to address this under representation.
This campaign gave girls strong STEM female role models by showing them that not everything is “man-made” and, in fact, women have invented a lot of amazing things that have propelled society forward.
