Daniel is a Brazilian-born, international creative director with over 11 years of experience working across multiple disciplines. During his career, he worked and lived in Brazil, the US, and Japan, creating local and global campaigns for some of the world’s most iconic brands, such as Nike, Google, Netflix and Unilever.

His main focus has been to support companies around the globe to push their creative boundaries. He is always developing innovative ways to tell stories, linking advertising, entertainment, utility, and innovation. He is passionate about crafting culturally relevant and meaningful work that starts a dialogue, and have a real impact on people’s lives.

Daniel sees advertising as a tool of empowerment, transformation, connection and optimism. He believes that it can drive change, and make the world a better place, while delivering valuable results, anchored around a brand’s business objectives.

Throughout his career, Daniel’s work has received some prestigious international awards including: The One Show, The Webby Awards, Festival of Media, El Ojo Iberoamerica. Currently, Daniel serves as Creative Director at AKQA Tokyo, where he leads a multidisciplinary team to deliver groundbreaking projects and experiences, and partners with clients to help pushing the world forward.
