Andrew G Stewart was born in Birmingham in 1971. After graduating from Plymouth College of Art & Design in 1992, he packed his pencils, went to London and got a job in the creative sector. Over a twenty year period, he’s worked with international finance companies, a global energy giant, private banks, government agencies and more recently, the third sector, where the not-for-profit, voluntary and charitable organizations dwell. From the time he acquired his first Nikes in 1987 and before a career in the creative industry, Andrew has been intrigued by the power and influence of design and what he now knows to be the art of branding. In 2012, he decided to pursue the ‘fuller’ answer to a question his grandmother asked him back in 1990, whilst sitting together on a bench waiting for a train. His answer, 25 years on, took form and became a book about a book of old stories. Andrew lives in Suffolk with his wife Andrea, son Loui, Alan (the cat), Twiglet (also a cat) and beloved dog Popcorn.
