Ralf Heuel is CCO and a Partner at Grabarz & Partner in Hamburg – the agency he cofounded as a Junior Copywriter in 1993. As Creative Director and, since 2002, as CCO, the 48-year-old has made the agency one of the most creative locations in the country, in the process repeatedly propelling Grabarz & Partner into the top ten of the most creative German agencies.
Under his creative leadership, Grabarz & Partner became the first independent agency ever to acquire a large portion of the German Volkswagen account in 2001. In addition, Heuel has now been developing the advertising for IKEA Germany for more than 20 years.
In 2011, he was among the top five Executive Creative Officers with the most awards worldwide according to the Big Won Report. In 2015, he was distinguished by the Lead Academy as Creative Leader of the Year, a title for which he had also been nominated in 2012.
