Elie Lakin

  • United Kingdom
  • Member since 2014

Whilst studying at the Bartlett School of Architecture, Elie nurtured an underlying approach to creating interactive spatial environments which reveal poetic notions about the way we live, by identifying patterns found within our environment and within human behaviour. Her particular interest in working with responsive technologies and materials often act as vehicles of communication within her projects.

Elie is a key member of the team at Jason Bruges Studio, applying her design approach whilst leading a wide range of innovative high profile projects. These projects include ‘Back to Front’, Toronto; ‘Aerial Dynamics’, the Coca Cola pavilion, London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games and the ‘Fast, Faster, Fastest’ installations, London 2012 Olympic Park.

Elie has taught on the BSc Architecture and the MArch Architecture course at the Bartlett School of Architecture and on the MA Architecture and Digital Media course at the University of Westminster.
