I started in the graphic design field at the early age of six as Owner and CEO of “T-shirt World," a puffy paint T-shirt business and my first professional venture. Years later, I received my MFA in Graphic Design from Rhode Island School of Design, graduating with honors. Upon landing in Seattle, my exuberant style, multi-disciplinary approach and focus on creative story-telling have been put to good use, creating design and art direction for clients such as Nike, Microsoft, K2, HBO, Rossignol, and Electronic Arts. Looking for a change, I formed and ran my own graphic design firm, which specialized in branding and web design.
Running a business turned out to be too much business at that time, so I joined Creature, directing and crafting story-driven design. I have a simple approach that allows me to develop insightful and original work, unrestricted by medium or category. During my decade in Seattle, my creative and design direction has helped reinvent coffee for Seattle's Best Coffee, revive 100 year old pants for Dickies Workwear, and create a 50 year vision for the Space Needle by reimagining the visitor experience, among a slew of other design and advertising based projects. I then moved to Amsterdam to be the Director of Design at Sid Lee, where I worked on a Special Edition bottle for Absolut, re-evaluating the customer journey for The North Face European retail and designing the world's happiest day for Pocky. I am currently Head of Art and Design at Anomaly London where I run and lead the design department. We create transformational design shifts for global accounts like Johnnie Walker, Unilever, Instagram, Uber and Captain Morgan’s, among others—as well as lead branding and creative development for new product innovations. I also part own and run a designer umbrella company. My work has been featured in Communication Arts, Print Magazine, Under Consideration, Behance, Brand New, the FWA, Ad Week, Creativity Online, Computer Arts and AdAge and recognized by The One Show, D&AD, Type Director’s Club, Webby Awards, Awwwards, Art Directors Club, and Graphis. I was honored to be included in the Business Journals' 40 Under 40 for creative leadership in business.
