Bonita Darkoh is a media and advertising professional, specialising in campaign strategy, optimisation, planning and content development. She graduated from the University of Essex (MSc) and Kingston University (BAHons) achieving both degrees in Business Management. She has worked for major brands such as Expedia, Verizon Media and Apple. In addition to being a media professional, Bonita is a firm believer in using her professional expertise to fuel and support the culture. Creating impact is at the core focus of Bonita’s goals, she has founded an award-nominated platform diversity and inclusion platform WalkingBrandUK and was appointed as the first President for Expedia’s Black Employee Relations Group, London when working at the business.
In addition to being media professional, she is also a Digital Creator focusing on brand strategy, value-based events as a Editor-in-Chief and Brand Director. Bonita has used her insight and creativity skills to host successful events for brands such as M&CSAATCHI, Black Girl Festival, WBUK, Expedia and The Photographers’ Gallery. Understanding the power of marketing, Bonita acts as a consultant providing direction and strategy on how to increase brand awareness. Diversity and inclusion has been a core focus during her career, Bonita has worked with various brands from a D&I perspective; varying from sitting on panels to providing organisational strategic advice on how to tackle diversity in the workplace.
