Sarah is an Associate Strategy Director at Purpose, where she builds social movements and supports social mobilisation on causes ranging from climate change to period poverty.
Before Purpose, Sarah worked at Girl Effect, an NGO committed to enabling girls in the developing world to transform their own lives, through brand and media-led interventions. At Girl Effect, Sarah developed a specialism in girl-led programming and communications, unlocking powerful insights to produce magazines, radio shows and TV dramas that resonated with teenage audiences in Ethiopia, Rwanda, Malawi, and Nigeria. She also led the market-entry strategy for the organisation's digital-first brand in India, launching in spring 2019.
Before joining Girl Effect, Sarah was a strategist at AMVBBDO. At AMV, she worked with a wide array of clients, ranging from commercial brands (Dixons Carphone, Walkers, Eurostar), charities (Cancer Research UK), government clients (Office for Low-Emission Vehicles) to brands with a gender and social purpose focus (Galaxy chocolate, Bodyform/Libresse).
Outside of work, Sarah is committed to the clichés of her demographic: yoga, outdoor swimming and niche skincare brands.
