Claire Ward

Claire Ward studied Design and Illustration at Glasgow School of Art and started her publishing career at Oxford University Press before moving to Transworld where she became Creative Director in 2003.
She designed the covers for many of Transworld’s bestselling books including Brick Lane, Before I go to Sleep, The Book Thief, The Unlikely Pilgrimage of Harold Fry and the current bestseller The Girl on the Train.
After 25 years with Transworld, Clare recently moved to HarperCollins where she is the Creative Director for fiction and nonfiction.
