Member of the Worldwide Creative Council, a gathering of the main creative team at Ogilvy, Anselmo spearheaded a revolution since his arrival at the agency in the late 2007.
Between 2007 and 2010, for example, the agency amassed 72 Lions at the Cannes Festival. In 2013, Ogilvy Brasil was chosen Agency of the Year and awarded two Grand Prix, one of which in Titanium.
That considered, Ogilvy & Mather Brasil, ranking 21st among the network’s best of over 400 offices worldwide in 2009, is today the undisputed number one. He is also a co-founder of DAVID, an agency started up by Ogilvy WW in 2011.
Anselmo began his career at Colucci in São Paulo, but moved abroad at the age of 24. In Europe, he worked for Y&R Lisbon and Madrid. He then moved to the U.S., including stints in Y&R Miami, Lowe NY, and Diego Heymann + Partners Miami.
He then took the invitation to head the creative team at Ogilvy & Mather Brasil. Holding an advertising degree from ESPM, Anselmo took cinema studies at New York University.
