Andres studied professional advertising in the central university of Colombia, began his career in Young & Rubicam Brands Colombia in 2004 where he worked for 6 years, first as art director and then as creative director. In 2010 he worked in Ogilvy & Mather Colombia as creative director and head of art for largest group for agency. Since April 2016 andres was transferred to Ogilvy & Mather Perú as Chief Creative Officer where he currently works.

He is a Creative with 181 awards in different advertising festivals worldwide, 9 Cannes Lions (2 gold, 3 silver and 4 bronzes), 3 Pencil in D&AD, One Show, Clio Awards, London International Awards, El Sol de San Sebastian, Wave, Ojo de Iberoamérica, Fiap, 20 Publications in Lürzer's Archive, WPPED Cream Awards, The Best of Ogilvy Worldwide and The Gunn Report, among other important festivals.
