Valerie is Executive Creative Director at SapientNitro and a passionate storyteller, strong salesperson and a powerful public speaker.
Valerie oversees teams across the disciplines of experience, design and content, including work in the areas of brand, creative strategy, visual-system design, online advertising and marketing programs, social marketing, gaming, applications and film.
For the past 13 years, Valerie has driven successful brand, marketing and product solutions for a range of Fortune 500 companies, including BlackBerry, ATT and Kraft Foods. She is very passionate about mentoring and retaining top talent and has created an industry leading national apprentice program for the creative and experience disciplines.
Drawing on her unique background in marketing, digital and teaching, Valerie collaborates with clients to design and create powerful brand relationships through innovative experiences delivered via unique programs. She strives to create strategic solutions that deliver a real return on investment. She believes understanding human nature and uncovering unmet needs are critical to creating meaningful brand experiences. She also gets excited about the power of data and the ability to personalize and customize experiences.
Prior to working in digital marketing, Valerie spent seven years teaching Graphic Design at Bradley University in Peoria, Illinois.
Valerie is an active member with the One Club, AAA and the AAF.
