Paul is the Consumer Marketing Director at Microsoft UK, where he leads the marketing activity for famous consumer technology brands including Windows, Surface, HoloLens, Office, Bing, MSN, & Edge.

With 20 years of experience in marketing and advertising, he has a track record of creating innovative work using digital media and technology. He has an expertise in leading teams to deliver omni-channel marketing plans that achieve commercial success. He is also excited by nurturing and developing talent to improve marketing capability in organisations, and to create future marketing leaders.

Paul is passionate about marrying the left-brain science of digital technologies with the right-brain art of creativity to create unique marketing collaborations that surprise and delight consumers. Recent examples include the multi-awarded Brandon Generator online crowd-sourced interactive drama curated by Edgar Wright; a unique film collaboration with Gorillaz to celebrate Internet Explorer; and the creation of the world’s largest Surface tablet device in Trafalgar Square.

Paul is also Chairman of ISBA (UK Advertisers trade body), has been recognised in Power 100 (Campaign, 2018 & 2017), Vision 100 (Marketing Week, 2016), Hot 100 Digital Marketers (British Interactive Media Association, 2015), and was Marketer of the Year (2011).

As an active supporter of the creative industries, Paul holds non-exec board roles within the arts & culture sector. These include Punchdrunk, the global pioneers of immersive theatre (The Drowned Man, London; and Sleep No More, New York & Shanghai); Camden Roundhouse, Europe’s largest creative hub supporting young people’s development in music, media & arts; and BookTrust, the UK’s leading literacy charity for children.

Most importantly of all, Paul leads a busy family life in Brighton with his wife Marie, and two young daughters Sophie & Lily.
