Richard Davies is Creative Director at SiteMinder, a technology startup based in Sydney, Australia. Previously Associate Creative Director at Re in Sydney working on large scale Australian branding projects. Before that he was Creative Director and Partner at BBH (Bartle Bogle Hegarty) London. Where he headed up their branding, innovation and venturing department ZAG. He believes passionately in creativity being based upon the two foundational principles of design and art. Design being everything you need to explain and art, everything you don't. He also knows that businesses are changing the world and brand is at the head and the heart of these changes.
He's won a few awards and founded a modular furniture company called Beynon. He's taught at Falmouth College of Art (Falmouth University, UK) and mentored at Enmore (Sydney, Australia) for D&AD New Blood.
He's got Welsh roots and Essex leaves. Likes partial shade.
