First joined D&AD 1977 with first pencil for Levi's TV ad 'Leader of the Pack' (directed by Ridley Scott). Subsequently won 8 more pencils through the years, as art director, creative director and commercials director. Also 2 BAFTAs. Won well over 100 major national and international ad awards. Directed over 250 commercials. Sat on 11 D&AD juries and was on D&AD Executive Committee. Career spanning over 40 years. Written book re: directing called 'ADLAND AND ME. The Travels and Tribulations of a TV Commercials Director'. Lavishly illustrated, entertainingly written (available Amazon). At present working freelance and writing novels.
