Fresh out of Camberwell’s illustration BA and starting a promising career as “visualiser”, Lorenzo was destined to take the scenic route to Chief Design Officer. That path, however, has shaped his holistic approach to design. He fully embraces the idea that design thinking should be applied well beyond the crafted output (though it should have a strong impact on that, too obviously!)

 

Following roles at AMV BBDO and Naked Communications,His time so far as Havas Creative’s CDO has yielded their most successful design awards era to date. and -  more importantly - helped broaden their offer with meaningful design-led work. From brand repositionings for Durex and the Open University, to identity platforms for the Department for Education, through to integrated design campaigns for social good with the Black Plaques Project, design now sits at the heart of the agency. 

 

He continues to push the value and role for design in advertising. He wants to move the discipline forward and deliver powerful brand expressions.
