Carlos was born in Buenos Aires in 1969, and from the age of 18 onwards worked in numerous advertising agencies in Argentina. Subsequently, he moved to London to study a Masters degree in Fine Arts Media at Slade School of Fine Arts, graduating with honours.

His installations in film and video were exhibited at the Institute of Contemporary Arts, The Art Institute of Chicago, Lux Gallery in London and at Moriarty Gallery in Madrid.

He went on to become Creative Director at Wieden + Kennedy, Portland, and rose to Executive Creative Director at Wieden + Kennedy, Amsterdam.

He founded 'Madre' in Buenos Aires, and then moved to London after he was named Global Creative Director of 'Mother'.

In 2015, he founded 'New', based in London, with Alex Pentland, Director of Human Dynamics at MIT Media Lab, Boston.

He worked on the Peace Agreement in Colombia, advising the FARC guerillas on the peace process. He and his team at New are now advising Nasa (National Aeronautica and Space Administration) on their own communications strategies.

Carlos's current work is focused on developing large-scale social projects, and complex institutional and commercial projects. These combine communications and design, together with data analysis (Social Physics) and creativity.
