Kate Pirouet is currently the acting Head of Production at Gravity Road.
With over 16 years’ experience as both an Agency Producer and Production Company Producer and numerous prestigious campaigns to her name, Kate previously judged for Film Craft at DNAD in 2014 and she is a firmly established and well-respected figure in the industry..
Kate began her career in post-production, working as an Assistant Editor and then as an online junior Editor before making the move to Quiet Storm in 1998 and working her way up to become Head of Production. She has produced several short films including the hard hitting documentary about sex trafficking ‘The Journey’ with award-winning Emma Thompson.
Kate has worked on commercial projects across a number of sectors, with clients including: Kerry Foods, Diageo, MTV, Bacardi, Sensodyne, Golden Wonder and Ford to name but a few. She has also produced for some of America’s top advertising agencies, working on brands from 3 Mobile to Aussie Shampoo.
Kate is passionate about music and takes a keen interest in emerging artists. She is able to incorporate this interest into her films and commercials creating innovative and dynamic collaborations.
The 2013 Quiet Storm campaign for The London Dungeon, which Kate produced, is testament to her ability to apply imagination through production technique and her flair for portraying the extraordinary.
Recent work at Gravity Road includes producing Pokers Stars high profile Gameon campaign with Usain Bolt and comedian Kevin Hart. This quickly became one of the most viewed consumer facing campaigns of all time on social media with over 205 million views, and remains Usain Bolts and Kevin Harts most viewed content of 2017.
