Christian graduated Preston Polytechnic (now University of Central Lancashire) in '95 and headed to the bright lights of London. He worked at Lippa Pearce, Halpin Grey Vermier (HGV), Dew Gibbons and Blast; working across a wide variety of design disciplines.
In 2004, the lights got too bright and he left London for Bath, setting up Steers McGillan Eves, an integrated communications company, specialising in the cultural and heritage sectors.
