Stephanie Blakey

Stephanie Blakey is a Canadian animation director based in London. She has a Bachelor's degree in Animation from the Emily Carr University of Art and Design in Canada, and a Master's degree in Directing Animation from the National Film and Television School in the UK.
Her thesis film, "The Last Resort", is currently making festival rounds and has screened internationally at several large festivals, winning an Audience Award at the Austin Film Festival. She animates digitally, frame-by-frame and with puppets, and traditionally, frame-by-frame and with paper cut out puppets.
She has a very dark sense of humour and a love of puns and absurdism.
