Renato has been working for 21 years building brands connecting purpose, business and communication.
In 2013, joined Natura &Co - a global purpose driven group made up of four iconic beauty companies Natura, The Body Shop, Aesop and Avon and proud to be the world’s largest B Corp.
His background is on branding, creative direction, communication and marketing, creative leadership, architecture and design.
Prior to Natura &Co, he had the opportunity to work and build amazing brands such as Coca Cola, Itaú, P&G and others. All of them, together with his studies and practices, shaped and enabled a strategic brand thinking combined with a creative vision oriented towards business growth results and brand equity.
During his career, his quest has always been purpose, meaning, intention, consistency and relevance.
He is currently Global Head of Branding and Creative Direction in Natura &Co, being responsible for building, strengthening and reflecting Natura brand through storytelling, expression, experience and creatively directing it with consistency and relevance pursuing the best of Natura´s essence and brand positioning through positive impact.
He collaborates with articles for Meio & Mensagem on branding, communication and purpose. In addition, teaches branding at ESPM, Insper and European Design Institute and is a former jury member at Effie Awards and The Drum. One of his most recent achievements was becoming a mentor in creative leadership for executives and a jury member of the special award category – the Green Pencil - that recognizes creative work which made a measurable environmental impact in The One Show 2023 edition by The One Club for Creativity NY.
From 2019 to 2022, Natura was four times awarded with the “company of the year” in branding at Brasil Design Awards with several projects he led with his team and creative partners.
Since 2020, he serves as a juror and council member of the Impact and Future Impact categories at the D&AD Awards (UK) and council and board member of BCMA (Branded Content Marketing Association) together with other inspiring creative leaders.
Renato’s pursuit is a world where ethics and aesthetics are forces for change, improving people's lives, including a better relationship with them, with each other and with the whole.
