Once an illustrator. Now a writer. For me, it’s all about the blending of the verbal and the visual, the story and the style.
My wordsmithery skills were forged in last minute's frantic fires, in the days before the dot com bubble burst. Then tempered by the relentless bashing-out of DM campaigns, POS and luxury travel brochures. And then fired up again, sending conceptual sparks flying, with experiential extravaganzas for whiskies, laundry whiteners and even weaning babies.
I’m currently enjoying being back in the foundry, in the world of pure brand creation. Shaping new brand personalities to be loved by convenience store shoppers, chocoholics and cycle geeks. It’s got to be one of the most demanding, rewarding and mentally sweaty jobs in the creative world. And I absolutely love it.
