Tuuli Sauren, Creative and Art Director, a key Strategist and Innovator is the founder of INSPIRIT International Communications and its Sustainable Design and Promotion Group..
“There isn't anything I can’t do, if I really want to” has been her motto throughout her life. Determination to reach the goal and finding new solutions to get there is her modus operendi.
She started her career at McCann-Erickson in Helsinki, Finland as an assistant to art director, quickly climbing the ladder to become one of the most sought-after art directors.
During the agency years her clients included Coca-Cola, Shell, and Sportia, as well as many clients in the fashion industry and business-to-business sector .
Restless in the traditional hierarchical style agency, with too many layers between her and the client, Tuuli wanted to make a change from being employed to being an independent Art and Creative Director.
After working with other agencies, Tuuli broke out on her own and became a Freelance Creative in Holland, including work with and with J. Walter Thompson.
In the early 90s she moved to Brussels and established her own brand, INSPIRIT International Advertising. She continued her work as an art director and designer for clients including the European Free Trade Association, EFTA Court, Global Reporting Initiative, World Health Organization, International Catholic Migration Commission, International Fund for Agricultural Development, Boole & Babbage Europe and many other international organizations.
Tuuli is a Juror at ico-D (International Council of Design) Sustainability Standard and a Board Member of the Union Design of Belgium. In Spring 2015 she launched Sustainable Designers Initiative (SDI), an initiative of INSPIRIT International Communication, Sustainable Design and Promotion Group to help young design graduates make their mark on the industry.
She also has a passion for human intellects and human rights.
