Hey. My name is Bruno Oppido, but people call me Oppido. I'm a 37 year-old art director passionate about graphic design.

For 9 years, I was an art director at F/Nazca Saatchi&Saatchi, a place I'll always be grateful to. It was there I got my first international awards, including the first Cannes Lions' Film Grand Prix in Latin America. At F/Nazca, I've worked for brands like Nike, Leica and Ambev and got listed as the third most awarded art director in the world at the AdAge report. I've also worked for Pinacoteca museum (one of the most important museum in Latin America) and had the opportunity to develop campaigns for Ron Mueck, Andy Warhol and many other artists' exhibits.

After my time at F/Nazca, I joined DDB NY's team as the office's Head of Art. During my year at NY, we conquered important accounts such as Time Warner Cable and Huawei, won 5 Cannes Lions and made some projects I'm really proud of. I was also a judge for D&AD and had the honor to meet and develop Kobe Bryant's retirement letter, which was, hands down, one of the coolest moments of my career.

In 2017, I returned to Brazil as the Head of Art and Creative Director for Wieden+Kennedy São Paulo and helped to build and lead a team with over 40 creatives. Together, we conquered the office's first Cannes Lions and turned the shop into the third most awarded independent agency in the world. For Nike, we regained brazilian's pride of football with Brasileiragem and empowered women football with an open air museum and The Doll I Never Asked For. For Old Spice, we created the longest ad ever made, which made its way to the Guinness World Records. For Ambev, we created a responsible drinking campaign to show people that if they drink right, they fuck right. Amongst other crazy stuff that made me really proud.

After 3 great years at Wieden+Kennedy São Paulo, I moved to Berlin. A city that was always a reference regarding graphic design. There, as and ECD /Head of Art, I collaborated on the development of Kia Global Rebrand, among other projects, helping to elevate the craft at Innocean Berlin.

Now, back to Brazil, after the birth of my beautiful son Francisco, I gathered the courage I needed to invest in an old dream: open a studio with my old friend João Linneu. PLANT is born and works by projects.
