Kirk Souder

  • Co-founder / Leadership Coach
  • United States

Kirk is co-founder of enso, the world’s first impact agency, and leads enso | Leadership for Impact as head leadership coach, helping leaders toward purpose and impact.

Before going all in with impact, Kirk had an accoladed career as ECD/CCO in places like Ground Zero, W+K Shanghai, Riney, and GMMB/DC where he was fortunate to participate in Obama for America. His awards span One Show Gold, Cannes Gold and Titanium, D&AD Pencil, Sundance Finalist, Emmys, and Adweek Creative Leader of the Year. He is also Creator and EP of “Art & Copy”, an award-winning documentary about how advertising’s creative revolution impacted world culture.

Following his learning from Obama for America, Kirk sought to use the mechanisms of movement building to harness the might, resources, and scale of visionary brands toward real and measurable positive impact. After the good fortune of meeting his partner, Sebastian Buck, enso was born with the mission “Create impact at scale” which enso’s been doing since 2012 with multiple divisions of Google, Mattel, Uber, The Nature Conservancy, Khan Academy, Omidyar Network, etc.

Kirk believes that purpose is empty without measurable impact, which begets enso’s invitation to business: “How are you living up to why you exist?”. Enso | Leadership for Impact asks the same to high-impact leaders and coaches them to connect to inner purpose for outer impact. Many include CCOs and CIOs in the ad industry.

Kirk co-facilitates a yearly conference and workshop called Soul Purpose Now to connect leaders to purpose, and volunteers twice a year in a maximum security prison for a mindset workshop called “Freedom To Choose".
