Jo Barnard is the Founder and Creative Director of industrial design and innovation consultancy Morrama.
From strategy through to manufacturing, she pushes the boundaries of innovation on a day-to-day basis in her work with both start-ups and scale-ups alongside the newly founded Morrama Labs, a space for exploring the future through design and creativity.
In 2022, Jo co-instigated the Design Declares movement, championing the role of sustainability to create a better design industry. The organisation has since been set up as a charity with Jo as director.
Jo is also one of the few female founders within the design, tech and product development industries. Outside of Morrama, she is a tutor at the RCA on the Design Futures platform.
Morrama has won 3 D&AD Pencil Awards to date and Jo was a D&AD judge in 2019 and 2023.
