Yohei Taneda was born in Japan and has been working in film industry Japan, the USA and in Asia.
Known for "Kill Bill Vol.1 " and "The Hateful Eight" directed by Quentin Tarantino, and animated films "When Marnie Was There" produced by Studio Ghibli and "Ghost in the Shell 2: Innocence" directed by Mamuru Oshii. Worked with Zhang Yi-mou, John Woo and Hirokazu-Kore-eda and many others. The latest works are Hirokazu Kore-eda's TV series, "The Makanai: Cooking for the Maiko House" (2022 Netflix).
