Greg Williams – Photographer & Director
Greg Williams is best known for his high profile photographic work with major film studios, magazines, brands and celebrities. Greg’s work includes on set and poster campaigns for Skyfall, Casino Royale, The Quantum of Solace, The Bourne films, Robin Hood and King Kong. He regularly works with Vogue Italia, GQ and Esquire magazines and with major talent such as; Michael Fassbender, Victoria & David Beckham, Kate Winslet, Daniel Craig, Sienna Miller, Brad Pitt, Russell Crowe, Eddie Redmayne, Idris Elba, Renee Zellweger, Sophie Dahl, Robert De Niro, Sean Penn, Rachel Weisz and Megan Fox. Greg was also the official BAFTA photographer for many years gaining special access to the red carpet, auditorium and backstage, building an incredible archive for BAFTA.
Greg began as a photojournalist; however, his great love of film led him to shoot specials on over 150 movie sets where he further honed his craft from the many award-winning cinematographers. Greg has since strived to create photos to look like moments from movies through not only using lighting crew from film sets but through directing his subjects to perform rather than just pose.
Greg’s natural segue into the world of film and commercials has produced work for Bentley, Vertu, Jamesons, Timberland, Agent Provocateur, Dunhill, BAFTA, Esquire, GQ as well as two short films; Sgt Slaughter, My Big Brother and Tell-Tale. Greg is currently developing his first feature film, Samarkand, starring Tom Hardy.
