As she only looks about 25, ahem, it's hard to believe Nicky has been writing award-winning words for over 20 years.
Within a year of taking the creative helm at LIDA, she jumped straight into Campaign's number 5 spot in their top 10 Direct CDs. Five years on, she has helped the agency pick up a ridiculous number of awards, win clients you’d give your right arm to work on and take the agency to the dizzy heights of Campaign’s Agency of the Year for the last two years running.

How will you support D&AD over the next three years?
My focus is diversity in our creative departments. My fear is that we are employing clones (brilliant ones of course). We are not reflecting the audiences we are creating for.
I want us to open the net to younger, as yet untapped talent. From all backgrounds. But particularly kids who have never heard an agency name in their lives.
Superfresh talent that has no idea we exist.
Kids who instinctively know what’s infectious, who have the gift of the gab, and the energy to take on the world. I want to open that box.
I stumbled upon this industry. I was lucky. And I never forget how lucky I am.
But for far too long we’ve waited for talent to find us.
We need to get over ourselves and go and hunt it down.
