Paula leads on partnerships, business development and programmes in the Global South and Europe for the Ocean Plastics Leadership Network. The OPLN runs programmes in ocean plastic hotspots around the globe that drive to accelerated, collaborative action, which brings together a diverse group of organizations like HP, Greenpeace, P&G, Nestle Waters, The Clorox Company, SAP, IDEO, Dow, Pepsico, the Coca-Cola Company, National Geographic, Conservation International, Kimberly Clark, Milliken, and the WWF.

As the co-Founder of the West Tech Fest, Paula brings together a community of founders, investors & tech industry visionaries sharing insights on disruptive technologies, the UN SDGs, social impact, investment opportunities and on building and scaling great companies.

Paula worked with D&AD for ten years in a number of capacities: Awards Director, Regional Director for Asia Pacific and more recently Global Development Director. In her most recent capacity, she curated a Council of global thought leaders and brands, standing for positive social impact, supporting D&AD Impact’s mission to drive creativity that powers change.

Having raised in excess of 20 million GBP for UK not-for-profits and NGOs, Paula has a specific interest in harnessing blockchain technology for social good and is the Regional Ambassador (Australia) for the Global Blockchain Business Council (GBBC), the leading industry association for the blockchain technology ecosystem, harnessing blockchain technology to create more secure, equitable, and functional societies across the globe.

Paula is also the Co-Founder of the Western Australian Ocean Foundation (WAOF) and is the Mission Blue Champion of the Houtman Abrolhos Islands Hope Spot.
