A former Awards Director of D&AD, Paula now heads up APAC for D&AD. Alongside global colleagues, she is tasked with developing their long-term growth plans, products, educational programmes and campaigns for diversity and gender balance in the region.
Paula is the Co-Founder of the West Tech Fest - a week-long festival and celebration of Asia-Pacific’s startup and innovation ecosystem. The program connects local founders with global entrepreneurs and investors. The West Tech Startup Challenge (formerly the OzAPP Awards) showcases Asia-Pacific’s hottest early stage startups for a live on-stage battle. The program attracts an annual level of +1 billion in technology investment funds coming to Western Australia every year for this event, with participation from tech leaders working with Apple, IBM, Amazon, Qualcomm, Google, Facebook, Twitter, Zenga and many more.
Paula has a long history of supporting creative excellence connecting global brands with organisations such as the Royal Academy of Arts, the Royal Court Theatre, the British Film Institute, the British Independent Film Awards, Frieze London, Cannes Film Festival & Raindance
With a passion for social impact, Paula has raised more than 20 million GBP for UK not-for-profits and NGOs. A Co-Founder of the Western Australian Ocean Foundation (WAOF), Paula and her colleagues are considering the many opportunities to map ocean health and to build community engagement utilizing blockchain technology.
