James is a creative leader who creates impactful ideas that stir conversation and pushes brands forward. His thoughtful approach to creativity has led to culture shifting work that have spanned dozens of brands from nimble nonprofits to global top 10 global brands. With over a decade of experience and a well awarded past at BBDO NY and VaynerMedia, James currently leads global brand creative at Duolingo. James’ unique background and vision has led to the creation of many types of nontraditional brand work including a documentary film on Netflix, a top 10 Billboard song, first of its kind uses of A.I. & tech, as well as government policy changes. His work has been recognized at every major industry award show and can also be found in the MoMA archives. James is also an academic instructor at the School of Visual Arts and founded Buzzworthy Content- An undergraduate course now in its 7th year, that’s focuses on creating award winning culture breaking ideas with the next generation of creative talent.
