I’m originally from Austin where I was raised and lived until moving to New York for my freshman year of college at New York University. After only a year I moved back to Austin, and didn’t return to school for a mix of reasons. Since then I have had mostly non-creative jobs while focusing on personal exploration and refining my creative interests. The majority of my creative work thus far has been photography and writing based, but I have various other interests as well. My photography has mainly analog, focused on street and travel predominantly. I particularly enjoy shooting environments and cinematography-esque stills. Writing wise, I have dabbled in many different forms, such as prose, short and long-form narrative pieces, and most recently screenwriting, as I have always had a deep love for films and would love to make them one day. As for my other interests, fashion design, architecture, graphic design and proper cinematography are a few of many.

As common an interest as it is, exploring natural places, traveling, and seeing new parts of the world are the most important parts of my life. I believe that individuals can only grow and improve themselves when exposed to different ideas, and there is nothing more different than experiencing a culture totally dissimilar to one’s own. This is why my ultimate professional aspiration is to be employed in a way that allows me to travel as much as possible. For work, my two chief occupational interests are taking photos of and writing about my experiences while traveling (for any reason, really), and writing, shooting, and possibly directing television series or feature films. I love creating worlds and narratives within them, and am generally proficient at imagining and ideating in any form.

Apart from my creative outlets, I am very politically engaged, and deeply enjoy discussing policy and visions for the future. I also love boardgames and anything else that involves strategy and problem solving.

Cheers.
